Ministerial Ethics

ETHICAL CODE FOR MINISTERS

1. Ministers must keep the nobility of their calling uppermost in their own mind.

2. Ministers must hold high in outward acts the established reputation of the Christian ministry.

3. Ministers must not use their ministerial position to get financial gain for themselves nor must they measure the services of their office by their monetary equivalent.

4. Ministers should dress in a manner becoming Christians whether they wear distinctive garb or not.

5. The confidential statements made to ministers by their congregation are privileged and should never be divulged without the consent of those making them.

6. As brothers and sisters in the service of the same Savior, the relationship between ministers should be one of cooperation
